This refers to information you submit on Happy Clam Gift’s website. On some site pages, you can order products, leave feedback or ask questions, and register to receive updates either by email, snail mail, or text. Here’s the information we collect:

- Credit/Debit Card Information via PayPal (Note: We DO NOT actually view your card information.)
Ways We Use and Secure Your Information
We use the information you submit on our Checkout page only to process that order. We do not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to complete that order.
We use email addresses only to reply to email we receive or if you specifically ask us to contact you by email. If you do register on our website for updates on new products, we’ll only use it for that purpose. Again, that’s only if you actually register and confirm that you want updates. Even then, you can always opt-out or tell us to discontinue use of your email address for that purpose.
Your email address WILL NOT be shared, rented out, or sold to outside parties. (And kids – cover your eyes and don’t read the following…) We think that businesses who do share/rent/sell email addresses surreptitiously are total ratbastards. But that’s just our very humble opinion.
Unlike many online stores, WE ABSOLUTELY DO NOT share information about your buying habits and other data with advertisers. Just like you, we can’t stand spammage. Happy Clam Gifts doesn’t stalk you when you leave our site.
If you choose to call or text us, we will only use your phone number to respond to your inquiries. We will not share or even store your number. We won’t use it to market to you. We just don’t have that kind of time.
All that being said, we will, however, share your personal information in order to comply with any legal requirement to do so or when we believe it’s reasonable, necessary and proper in order to protect our store, our customers, or others.
To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data security, and ensure proper use of information, we put in place appropriate physical, digital/electronic, and administrative procedures to safeguard and secure information under our control.
Payment Data
No credit card details are viewed by Happy Clam Gifts. We accept payments through PayPal. When processing payments, some of your data will be passed to PayPal, including information required to process or support the payment, such as the purchase total and billing information. Analytics
Our website uses Google Analytics, a service which transmits website traffic data to Google servers in the United States. Google Analytics does not identify individual users or associate your IP address with any other data held by Google. We use reports provided by Google Analytics to help us understand website traffic and website usage. By using this website, you consent to the processing of data about you by Google in the manner described in Google’s Privacy Policy and for the purposes set out above. You can opt out of Google Analytics by using the opt-out service provided by Google.
